DevOps Engineer – Mahad IT UAE Location: Abu Dhabi / Remote Company: Mahad IT UAE Position: DevOps Engineer (Deployment & Infrastructure) What You’ll Be Doing: Are you the person who makes things “just work”? We need a DevOps Engineer to handle deployment, server management, and CI/CD pipelines for our growing portfolio of products, including Mahad Resume, Mahad Rank, Hosting, and Recruitment ERP.

DevOps Engineer

Your Mission:

• 🔄 Set up and manage robust CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) that developers love
• 🖥️ Deploy Node.js, React, and .NET applications on our Hetzner servers (CloudLinux + cPanel/Plesk)
• 🐳 Containerize applications with Docker & manage orchestration with Kubernetes
• 📈 Handle server scaling, monitoring, and automated backups like a pro
• 💾 Manage PostgreSQL databases, Redis caching, and Kafka message queues
• 📊 Monitor performance with Grafana, Prometheus, and Sentry dashboards
• 🛡️ Ensure 99.9% uptime with secure, scalable deployments
• 🔧 Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive solutions

What We Need From You

DevOps Engineer Core Skills:

• 🐧 Strong Linux server management skills (command line is your home)
• 🐳 Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• ☁️ Knowledge of cloud environments (Hetzner, AWS, or Azure)
• 💾 Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka management
• 📊 Proficiency with monitoring/alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry)
• 🔄 Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• 🔐 Security best practices for production environments
• 📜 Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)

Technical Requirements:

• Experience with container orchestration in production
• Knowledge of load balancing and auto-scaling
• Database backup and recovery strategies
• Performance optimisation and capacity planning
• Network configuration and firewall management

DevOps Engineer Bonus Points:

• Kubernetes certification
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of backup strategies and disaster recovery
• Previous experience with Hetzner or European cloud providers
